Cutting a Stencil on the Laser Cutter

My husband and I spent the morning at techshop, playing around on the laser cutter and came up with different things we could do.
4 hours value of different items for different materials.
I have worked as a logo painter and have also painted graphics and murals, so the idea of using a laser cutter to make my own template is interesting.
Because it\'s a learning day, one thing we learned is that 4 hours passed very fast and we will never get everything we want to try, I just got a file from the epilog website, which is the manufacturer of the TechShop laser cutting machine.
I use Corel Draw to load the file onto a thumb drive and carry it with me on TechShop is simple and quick.
Some kind of paper inventory is recommended by the website.
I just used the card Library.
I thought the settings were a little low-
Very low power, I think the frequency should be higher.
If I have free time or take into account the specific project of the template, I will run it for the second time to increase the power and frequency.
Once the laser is set up, although the first one comes out easily, most of it turns out to be painful.
I used a big quilting needle, my nails, and a lot of mumbling.
I gave it a test run for fun.
